Explore Brunei By Night Tour which includes a savoury local
dinner and endure the amazing capital, Bandar Seri Begawan with photostop at 2 iconic mosques - Jame’ Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque and Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque. Visit a local night
market. Stroll through
the market where you will be amazed to see many rows of stalls selling a
wide range of local delicacies.

DAY 02
– FULL DAY CITY TOUR (B/L/D)

Full Day City Tour. The route will pass by the Lapau –
a royal ceremonial hall where HM The Sultan was
crowned as the 29th Sultan of Brunei in 1968. This hall was also
used by The Sultan for his birthday celebrations until 1983. Next to the Lapau,
is the old parliament house, known as Dewan Majlis. You will
notice that the architectural designs of both buildings is rich in Brunei
culture and heritage with walls decorated with traditional Brunei woven
motives. We will make a brief stop at a local traditional market, known as Tamu Kianggeh -
situated on the banks of Kianggeh
River. This market was also visited
by HM Queen Elizabeth II during her state visit to Brunei in
1998. Continuing on to The Malay Technology Museum. The Museum building
was a gift from Royal Dutch
Shell in conjunction with Brunei Independence in 1984. Here, we trace the path
of ancient times on how boatmaking, metal working and goldsmithing was done.
· Next stop will be the Tomb of Sultan Bolkiah, the 5th Sultan of Brunei,
whose reign were known as the Golden
Age of Brunei, Royal Regalia Museum – which
houses the regalia of the Sultan and the royalty. It also exhibits the
commemorations of the Silver and Golden
Jubilee celebrations of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah’s rule. Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque* – seen as the most magnificent mosque in Asia, it is named after the father of the present
ruler.
· After lunch
at a local restaurant, join your local guide to explore the Kampong Ayer – Known as the “Venice of the East”,
it is one of the largest water village in Southeast Asia. This stretch of settlements on stilts is a
must-visit for any tourist to Brunei.
Start with a scenic boat ride of the Brunei
River by “water
taxi”, before taking a walk along wooden
paths and bridges
rich in Brunei culture and
history. Complete your experience by paying a visit to one of the local
houses where traditional cakes and tea will be served.
· Visit the
majestic Jame’ Asr Hassanil
Bolkiah Mosque*. Completed in 1994 to mark the monarch’s 25th
year rule, the mosque has 29 golden domes to honour the 29th ruler
of Brunei. It is considered to be a masterpiece of modern Islamic architecture
in Asia with middle eastern influence interiors mixed with local accents. To
end the tour, we will drive to Nurul Iman Palace - the
official residence of The Sultan of Brunei and was included in the Guinness
Book of Record as the world’s largest living residence of a head of state.
There will be opportunities for photo taking at the front gate of the palace.
Note*: Non-Muslims are not allowed to enter the mosques on Thursdays and
Fridays and during religious festivals and the tour will cover the garden area and compound of the two
mosques only on these days.

DAY 03
– SERIA OIL TOWN TOUR (B/L/D)

Located 80km from Bandar Seri Begawan, Seria is the
lifeblood of Brunei’s economy. The journey on mostly dual highway will take you about 1.5hours to reach, where
along the way, you will also see the rural side of the country.
·
The first stop is the Seria Energy Lab, a flagship
program by Brunei Shell Petroleum Company Sdn Bhd in order to support the growth of science literate in the
country. The centre’s exhibition gallery showcases over 100 exhibits that cover
the multi-facets of science, technology and Brunei’s hydrocarbons industry
which visitors will find educational and entertaining.

The tour will also include the Billionth Barrel
Monument, an arch built in 1991 to mark billionth barrel of crude oil produced
in Seria, pass by Brunei Shell Petroleum
headquarters and a sight of the Dutch community accommodation quarters and their recreational facilities, before reaching Kuala
Belait for lunch. Free at leisure to explore this unique small town before
returning to Bandar Seri Begawan. On the way back to your hotel, there is another
photo opportunity at the Jerudong
Park area which is only open during
evening hours.

DAY 04
– DEPARTURE (B)
